News From Weathersfield School Service Group

Service Group will be having the Halloween dance on October 25 from 7:00- 9:00. The theme is "Light Up the Night", admission is $5.00. We are asking that everyone dress up in their best glow in the dark or light up costumes.

The yellow donation box is out in front of the school. We accept ANY type of clothing, shoes, jackets, etc. The clothing can be in any condition. Please donate all of your used clothing. Nothing is too old or worn out to be used. Everything will be used or made into something new. All donations are weighed and Service Group receives a small payment for these donations.

We will be placing the boxes in the AP room in the next week or so to begin our annual collection for Thanksgiving baskets. Our goal again is to collect enough food to feed 20 families. Remember we need turkeys, dinner rolls, squash, pie crusts, pie fillings, canned veggies, mashed potatoes, gravy, and pickles.

If you're interested in joining Service Group, we meet on most Thursdays during lunch in Room 219.
