Golf Ball Drop, Yard Sale at Ascutney Volunteer Fire Station

Join us tomorrow at the Weathersfield School! Buy a ball, see great cars and support the eighth grade class trip! Car show opens at 10am, with the fire depts demonstration at 1pm.

Community members can purchase numbered golf balls for $10 each or 3 for $25.

At 2pm on October 12th at the Ascutney Volunteer Fire Association station, the ladder will be fully extended over a putting hole. 

An AVFD firefighter will climb the ladder and dump all the purchased golf balls over the hole. 

The ball that lands in the hole wins $400 cash. 

Should multiple balls land in the hole, the prize is split amongst those winners. 

Should no ball land in the hole, we will measure the ball closest to the pin to determine the winner. 

Golf balls can be purchased at the PTA Car Show on October 5th at the Weathersfield School, at the AVFD Yard Sale on the 12th (before noon), or by calling the Fire Station at 802-674-6869.
