Third Annual River Valley Employment Fair - Wednesday, April 23 from 3 to 6 pm, Springfield, VT

The River Valley Workforce Investment Board hosts the third annual River Valley Employment Fair on Wednesday, April 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Nolin-Murray Meeting Center, 40 Summer St., Springfield.

Employers attending — and hiring — include Leddy Group, PepsiCo, ADA Traffic Control, Black River Produce, Heartland Automotive Services, Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS), Moore Nanotechnology Systems, Cedar Hill Continuing Care Community, SEI/Aaron’s, Red River, Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Vermont and Hampshire, Jeld-Wen, Len-Tex Corporation, Amcomm Wireless, Vermont Agency of Transportation, Londonderry Data Center, and Home Depot.

The fair is a joint effort of the River Valley Workforce Investment Board (WIB), the Vermont Department of Labor, Creative Workforce Solutions, and the River Valley Technical Center (RVTC).

Organizers say the event is aimed at connecting local job seekers with area seasonal and permanent jobs, and showcasing resources and training programs that will give job seekers a strong advantage in meeting their career goals.

This employment fair is the most recent project of the River Valley Workforce Investment Board (WIB) whose mission is to link business and education communities to bridge the gap between the workforce of today and the one we need tomorrow.

WIB serves Andover, Baltimore, Cavendish, Chester, Grafton, Landgrove, Londonderry, Ludlow, Plymouth, Reading, Rockingham, Springfield, Weathersfield, West Windsor, Weston, Windsor, and Windham, and their surrounding communities.

For more information, contact Suzanne Groenewold at either 802-885-8310 or sgroenewold@rvt.org.

There is no fee for job seekers to participate in the fair
