On
4/11/2014 at approximately 2230 hours, Officer Norton stopped a NH
registered vehicle on Weathersfield Center Road near Jeffrey Lane for a
defective/non-existent muffler.
Upon stopping the vehicle, Officer
Norton determined the 17 year old driver had been consuming alcoholic
beverages.
Four of the six passengers (yes six passengers in a small
four door car) had also been consuming alcoholic beverages
and were minors as well.
The four minors and the operator were
subsequently issued violations for Minor in Possession of Alcoholic
Beverages by Consumption.
The male operator was also issued an .02% BAC
Violation, which is similar in penalties to a DUI except there is no
criminal penalties.
This violation is for persons under 21 years old.
This male was also issued a ticket for Operating After Suspension &
Failing to Wear his Seat Belt.
Also during the investigation,
it was found that Ms. Arieanna Quinlan (20) was arrested on an Arrest
Warrant for Failing to Appear in Windsor Superior Court, Criminal
Division to answer to the charge of Disorderly Conduct.
She was
subsequently lodged in Southern State Correctional Facility in
Springfield.
