...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON CONTINUES THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION...FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST FRIDAY.

* LOCATIONS...ALL OF EASTERN VERMONT AS WELL AS EASTERN PORTIONS OF ADDISON AND RUTLAND COUNTIES.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 3 INCHES OF HEAVY WET SNOW...ALONG WITH AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATE...UP TO A HALF INCH PER HOUR...MAINLY THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL DEVELOP THIS EVENING AND CHANGE TO FREEZING RAIN OVERNIGHT. FREEZING RAIN WILL CHANGE TO RAIN FRIDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING DUE TO LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN.

* WINDS...SOUTH 5 TO 10 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS IN THE UPPER 20S.
