Inside The Forecast:

Today will be like an echo of Tuesday's weather - the same, but just not quite as "loud." Another fast-moving clipper system (like yesterday) will come through with some snow showers (like yesterday), but the snow will only amount to a dusting to 2" by the end of the day, and a lot of that will be melting as it hits the ground. Also, it will be warmer today (highs in the 30s), so there will be a few rain drops mixed in with the snow flakes.

There will be a hint of spring in the air on Thursday! There will be a good deal of sunshine and highs will be in the upper 30s and low 40s.

The trouble spot in the forecast is going to be on Thursday night and early Friday. That's when a strong storm system coming out of the midwest will start to move into our region. This storm will mainly be bringing us rain & wind on Friday, but in the early stages, there will be a wintry mix of snow, sleet & freezing rain on Thursday night into Friday morning. The Friday morning commute could be slick, so plan accordingly.

That strong storm will move through quickly on Friday. The weather will settle down over the weekend and stay quiet into the start of next week. It will still be fairly mild over the weekend, but colder air will start to work its way back in for the start of next week.
