The Weathersfield Food Shelf is coming back to town.
The Selectboard has designated a portion of the historic 1879 brick school in Perkinsville as a permanent venue for the new food shelf, which will be operated by Weathersfield Food Shelf, Inc., a new-non-profit corporation formed by former food shelf volunteers. A campaign is underway to raise funds, organize the space, stock the shelves and open as soon as possible.
