Winter Concert Solos
Students are encouraged to perform a solo at the Winter Concerts on January 28 and 30. Students interested in soloing need to speak with Mr. Ramsey by Monday, January 13. Anyone who requests a solo after this time will be asked to wait until the Spring Concert. In addition:
Grades 4-8: Students who would like to perform a solo in the concert should come to me with a song already chosen. I will try to fit everyone who wants a solo into the program, but I may need to ask students who have already performed a solo this year (Veterans Day, Christmas Sing-Along) to wait to perform again until the Spring Concert to give everyone a chance.
Grades K-3: I will help the students pick a song that fits their developing ability level. Students need to see me right away if they would like to try out. Students will be chosen to sing a solo or to sing a selection in a small group.
TY!
