Nearing the completion of a 26' by 40' modular home, the River Valley Technical Center's Carpentry program at Springfield High School, Springfield, VT, is offering the house for sale to the highest bidder. 

 

High School students in RVTC's Carpentry program began building the house in November of 2012. 

 

Using an adapted design from a commercial modular home builder, the students built a 1,040 sq.ft ranch style modular home with three bedrooms, one bath, kitchen and living room. 

 

The house will be a closed in shell and will need to be completed onsite by the buyer at the buyers expense. 

 

The minimum bid for this house is $33,000. 

 

Interested bidders are welcome to view the house, which has been built inside the River Valley Technical Center's carpentry lab area. 

 

The winning bid will be the highest bid received over the minimum bid.
