I was going to
change out the photo of the library to a snowy photo, but the
temperature is headed down around zero again, and I like looking at the
green and hope you do as well. Come on an underwater adventure with
Nancy McMenemy at the beginning of the month and laugh till your face
hurts with Kay Faust later in January. Two great ways to beat the winter
chill. Learn how to borrow ebooks from your library or sign up for a
free hour of computer tutor with Nancy on Friday mornings. There is one
thing missing from the photo above - the new "Invest in Weathersfield's
Future" sign showing the architect's drawing of the expansion project.
I'll be sending out a special email newsletter mid-January with a link
to a new website with information about the history of the project,
project plans, and news about the project. You will be able to visit
this website to stay up-to-date on the progress of the project. If you
have any questions about the project please call, email or drop by the
library. And in case you haven't driven by the new sign yet, I've put a
couple of the architect's drawings at the bottom of this newsletter.
Stay warm and have fun in the snow!
Nancy Tusinski, Library Director
