The
Members of the Springfield Police Department wish to congratulate Sgt.
William Daniels with his appointment to Police Chief of Weathersfield.
While we delight in his promotion, it is with much regret that we will be losing a great member of this department.
Sgt Daniels leadership and duty to serve this department have been inspirational.
With a positive leadership style of not only leading by example but working with those around him to maintain a positive environment despite staffing shortages and showing exemplar respect to everyone, his absence will create a great loss.
We cannot however be anything less than overjoyed that he is moving on to much bigger and better things.
We wish you great Success Chief William Daniels!!!
