Underage Drinking - Risks for Parents

Did you know 3 out of 4 teenagers obtain alcohol by some one giving it to them or buying it for them?

Vermont has some of the highest underage drinking statistics in the country, including drinking and driving statistics.

As youth who drink before age 15 are 4 times as likely to develop an alcohol dependence than their peers who wait until 21 - it is important to teach youth to celebrate safely.

Adults who provide alcohol to minor or allow underage drinking parties are partaking in what is called social hosting.
