Release: On May 10, 2014 at approximately 1110 hours, Officer Neily was
monitoring traffic on Weathersfield Center Road in the area of Jeffrey
Lane when he happened to stop a
motorcyclist for speeding.
The operator, Michael Lachapelle (57) of
Springfield was arrested for Excessive Speed, for allegedly traveling at
81 MPH in a posted 40 zone. He was subsequently issued a citation to
appear in court at a later date.
