VT Department of Corrections Holding Town Hall Meeting Series

WATERBURY, Vt. - The Vermont Department of Corrections has scheduled a series of Town Hall meetings for 2013 and 2014. The first meeting is being held on Wednesday, September 11.

The VT Department of Corrections says the first meeting will focus on the Vermont treatment program for sexual abusers. The Department will provide information on services available to the victims and families when the offender in their case is in custody or being supervised by the Department of Corrections.

All meetings are held via Vermont Interactive Technologies and run from 4 to 6 p.m. Here's a list of Vermont Interactive Technology sites across the state:

• Bennington
• Brattleboro
• Lyndonville
• Montpelier
• Middlebury
• Newport
• Rutland
• Springfield
• St. Albans
• White River Junction
• Williston

The Department says they are accepting ideas for future topics.

The next meetings are scheduled for February 12, 2014; June 11, 2014; and October 8, 2014.
