Chobani Greek Yogurt is recalling a bad batch, because of mold.
Yogurt in containers marked code 16-012 and expiration dates Sept. 11 to Oct. 7 are being recalled.
Company representatives say it is not associated with salmonella or E. Coli. They say it is a common species that affects fruits, veggies and other plants. It has also been linked to previous cases of spoiled yogurt.
Food experts say it should not pose a health risk to most consumers. The company is based in New Berlin, New York, but the affected products came from its Idaho facility. Ninety-five percent of the affected products have been pulled from the shelves.
