Wildlife Photography Course

The Vermont Woodlands Association is co-hosting a wildlife photography workshop with Audubon Vermont and the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department.

Join Vermont Fish & Wildlife's Tom Rogers for a presentation on wildlife photography on Saturday, May 9 from 9am-noon.

Tom will give a brief presentation on the basics of proper exposure, depth of field, and use of camera equipment, followed by a field session at the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington, Vermont. Vermont Fish & Wildlife bird biologist John Buck and Audubon Vermont bird expert Jim Shallow will also be on hand to help us find wildlife and to provide a naturalist’s prospective.

This event is geared for beginners who want to get the basics of wildlife photography and for intermediates who want to take their skills to the next level. Participants should bring their own camera equipment, including a tripod and binoculars if they own them.

To sign up, contact Kathleen Wanner at kmwanner@comcast.net. Space is limited to the first 20 registrations.
