Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) is inviting neighbors in Ludlow, Cavendish, Weathersfield, Chelsea and Hartford, and any interested people, to informational sessions about a proposed project to upgrade the Connecticut River Valley electric transmission network. Four public meetings to discuss the project will be held at the following dates and times:
The Connecticut River Valley Project as proposed would rebuild a 15-mile transmission line connecting the Coolidge substation in Ludlow and Cavendish to the Ascutney substation in Weathersfield, and perform associated upgrades to the Hartford and Chelsea substations. The public is invited to attend informational sessions to learn more about the project, get questions answered and provide input.

- April 29, 6pm at Bugby Senior Center in White River Junction, Vermont
- April 30, 6pm at Chelsea Town Office in Chelsea, Vermont
