On
April 17, 2015 at approximately 0254 hours an unknown male subject
attempted to steal an ATM from the One Credit Union located at 380 River
Street Springfield, Vermont.
The male subject was wearing all black clothing and a black face mask with a horizontal opening near the area of the eyes. The subject was wearing two-toned work type gloves and black shoes. The subject appears to also have a stocky build.
The subject backed up what appears to be a light colored pickup truck, possibly beige or gold in color to the door and then wrapped a chain around the ATM. The subject then entered the truck and tried to pull the ATM free. In doing so the chain released and the subject attempted to attach the chain to the ATM again. After a second failed attempt the subject left the scene in an unknown direction.
