The
reconstruction work will be performed by Bazin Brothers Trucking.
Reconstruction will consist of grinding off the existing pavement,
adding 6” of crushed gravel, and repaving.
The start of all driveways will be blended in with the new road to
ensure that there is a smooth transition from the driveways to the new
pavement. Disturbed grass will be reseeded. Reconstruction will
include the entire length of Airport Road from Route
106 to the airport.
During
the period of construction, through traffic will be detoured to
Kendricks Corner Road. The contractor will be maintaining access to the
driveways of residences along Airport
Road. Access to the airport will be maintained from Kendricks Corner
Road to the airport parking lot.
