A spaghetti dinner will be held at Hawks Mtn. Grange, Old Center Street in Perkinsville, VT on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 5 to 8 pm.
The dinner is a fundraiser for a local (Weathersfield Resident) Woodstock Union School Graduate who traveled to Nashville, for a HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) conference.
Merranda Lenahan recently placed 3rd in her Health Occupational Students of America Competition, in Human Growth and Development in Manchester, NH.
Because Merranda placed 3rd, she got to go to the conference. However, she had to come up with the money for the flight, hotel, admission fee, food, etc. She borrowed what she did not raise and now has to finish the fundraising and pay back those who were kind enough to lend her the money.
She has worked very hard in her last four years of school and will be attending college in the fall at Russell Sage in Troy, NY to work toward a degree in psychiatry.
Come enjoy and evening with friends and family, a great meal and help Merranda raise her funds!
