Some of the hikes are of historic interest. They include Cathedral Rocks this coming Saturday, June 20th, and then later in the summer the ancient hemlocks with a tour of the John Warren home (1791), Ferry Road with a view of the Consul Jarvis barn, the Perkinsville Lower Valley, and Cooks Pond.
There are 3 other hikes without historical interest unless someone wanted to go quite a ways to the Gravelin murder site from Steve Aikenhead’s cabin.
The hikes vary in difficulty. For detailed descriptions of all of the hikes, contact Steve at steve@vermontel.net or 263-5439.
