The Weathersfield Proctor Library in
Weathersfield, Vermont is hiring for a Library Director. The Library
Director is responsible for the administration, supervision and
coordination of all activities and services of the library and reports
directly to an active & supportive Library Board of Trustees.
Essential tasks include choosing and acquiring print & non-print
additions to library collections within budgetary guidelines. The ideal
candidate will have the experience, skills and enthusiasm to promote
and facilitate the use of the library by all community members and to
foster positive working relationships with town government,
organizations and potential donors.
Knowledge of Koha Automated
Libraries or similar automated system, BLS and 2 years professional
library experience is required and MLS and Vermont Library Certification
preferred.
The opening is for 32 hours per week
