WEATHERSFIELD — Carol Joyce Jarvis, 74, of Weathersfield, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at her home.
She was born April 28, 1941, in Cavendish, the daughter of Alan and Mavis Cook.
Carol volunteered with many organizations.
She was the widow of Edward W. Jarvis, whom she married Nov. 25, 1961 and he died Oct. 28, 2006.
The family includes her daughter, Florence Densmore and her husband, Doug, of Springfield; two sons, Edward Jarvis of Zephyrhills, Florida and Jeffrey Jarvis of Weathersfield; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Clark of Springfield and Rita Adams of Portland, Maine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan Jarvis; and a son, Arthur Adams.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Ascutneyville Cemetery in Weathersfield with Father Shawn Therrien officiating.
