SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 7/8/2015, at approximately 10:13 pm, Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 north near mile marker 41, in the Town of Springfield, for a minor traffic violation. During the stop the passenger, Raymond Smith provided a false name. The driver, Robert Regan, and Smith were both arrested for False Information to a Police Officer.

Regan was released with a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date to face the above charge. Smith received a citation and was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $2,500 bail.
