New!! Volunteer Work Day for 1879 Schoolhouse - Can You Help?

We are going to reschedule the work day.

It appears there will not be enough help, with most folks otherwise engaged.

The new date will be Saturday August 15th, with the same tasks as in the original e-mail below.

To Friends of the 1879 school house,

> We are looking for a few volunteers to help out with a couple of small projects this upcoming Saturday morning the 25th.
>
> We are in the process of completing the water runoff drainage plan at the 1879 School House this week.  The next step for us is to put a simple insulated slab in the ell crawlspace.  We need help leveling the dirt floor,  laying the insulation, and installing the reinforcement wire.  If there is any time or labor to spare we will work on replacing a section of the ADA ramp.  We will work from 8 ‘till 12 noon.

> If you can spare some time, your efforts will be greatly appreciated.  Bring gloves, a shovel, and dirt rake if you have them.  Technical skills are not necessary.  Please call Matt Keniston at 802 263 5300 if you can help.
