John Timothy Curran, 59, of Springfield, died unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He was born in Glen Ridge, N.J. on March 5, 1957, to Franklin E. & Nancy (Scrimgeour) Curran. Tim grew up in and attended school in Amherst, Mass. and attended Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, N.H.
He lived with and cared for his mom and dad as they aged. He enjoyed their relationship; he maintained their farm and saw to it that his parents did not go without. He adored all dogs, especially his puppy Huckleberry. When time allowed he enjoyed fishing. All who knew him knew him to be a kind and caring person.
He is survived by his daughter, Grace Berkhoudt; and granddaughter, Lilianna of Norfolk, Va.; his father, of Springfield; and brothers, Michael Curran and his wife, Barb of Fairlee, Peter Curran and his wife, Sandy of Williamson, N.Y.; and sisters, Susan Korbet and her husband, Peter of Perkinsville, and Amy Caldwell and her husband, Bruce of Ascutney; nephews, Jim and Frank Curran and Joe Rozicki and their families; nieces, Sarah Curran Busch and Martha Korbet Hammond and their families, nieces Karen Johnson, Elysia Korbet, Matilda and Georgia Caldwell.
Tim was predeceased by his mother and a sister, Mary Ann Rozicki.
