   ACTION ALERT!
   The Vermont House just passed S.12, a bill that bans animal sexual abuse and strengthens penalties for animal cruelty, such as the killing, tortur...e and mutilation of animals. The bill passed by a unanimous voice vote!
   

   However, the bill must still be approved by the Senate. WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW, to make sure the bill is passed before this session ends in two weeks.
   TAKE ACTION!
   1) Call and email your Senator(s) and ask them to support S.12 as passed by the House. Look up your Senator here, http://legislature.vermont.gov/people/
   2) Call the VT Sergeant-at-Arms at 802-828-2228 and tell them you SUPPORT the passage of S.12 in the Senate.
   Message: “As your constituent, I strongly support bill S.12 that prohibits the sexual abuse of animals and strengthens Vermont’s animal cruelty laws. I urge you to support passage of this bill before the end of this legislative session.”
