PRESS RELEASE

In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 15, 2017, Claremont Police units were dispatched to Trinity Street for a report of an armed robbery....

Through the investigation, the police learned that a food order had been placed with Dominos, and that two suspects, both of whom were brandishing weapons, attacked the delivery driver when he arrived at the apartment.

During the attack, the victim was stabbed several times and a small amount of money was stolen from his possession.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Valley Regional Hospital and has been released.

The Claremont Police quickly identified
Debra Pitts
Age 31

as one of the two suspects in this attack.

The attack was interrupted by an alert neighbor who intervened and exclaimed that she was going to call the police.

The suspects fled the scene on foot, running up Trinity Street in the direction of Franklin Street.

Ms. Pitts has long dirty blond hair, which was held up in a bun. She was said to be wearing a red and gray sweatshirt or jacket.

The other subject appeared to be of slender build and wearing a dark colored jacket and some type of a hat.

We are currently viewing surveillance footage from a nearby location.

The NH State Police and the Charlestown Police Department were both very helpful during the infancy of this investigation, and we thank them for their continued assistance and professionalism.
