Victory Drive in the Town of
Weathersfield will be closed at its intersection with Thrasher Road for
four days from Monday, October 6 through Thursday, October 9.
The road
closure will allow the Town to replace an undersized culvert with a much
larger culvert. This work is part of the Town’s effort to lessen damage
from flooding when torrential rains fall on the southeast slopes of
Ascutney Mountain during thunderstorms.
Although the road will be closed at this
location, all homes on Victory Drive will still be accessible from the
Route 131 end of Victory Drive.
Thrasher Road will not be affected by
this road closure.
