“Due to the generous response from Weathersfield residents who support the
efforts of the Weathersfield Food Shelf, Inc., the Food Shelf will reopen in
January to serve their neighbors in need of assistance in feeding their
families. The 1879 School in Perkinsville is not ready to be occupied,
therefore, the Food Shelf will be open from 4:00-6:00 pm, on the 2nd & 4th
Thursday of each month, at a temporary location to be announced shortly.
Meanwhile, a rotating group of volunteers is being organized to staff the Food
Shelf during their hours of operation. Anyone who wishes to help may
contact Janet Gould @ 674-9365.”
