WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont man has pleaded not guilty to possessing heroin after police arrested him at a motel room.
Police say 29-year-old Luis Rodriguez of Windsor had been living out of a Route 5 motel in Ascutney. They said they found 42 bags of heroin and Oxycodone in the room Monday.
The Eagle Times reports (http://bit.ly/1c8R5PC) police stopped a car in which Rodriguez was a passenger for speeding. They said they found methadone on him and a purse containing cash and an empty heroin bag. Rodriguez consented to the motel room search.
