Police issued a news release Tuesday saying their investigation revealed that several witnesses saw a man matching the suspect's description loitering at the entrance to the West Street pharmacy just before the robbery July 21 at 2:15 p.m.
Responding
officers spoke with at least one witness, who they did not identify at
the time because of the emergency response, the release says.
That July afternoon, a man forcibly took a woman’s purse as she was walking in the parking lot, and then fled in the direction of the West Street Shopping Center across the street, according to police.
The suspect is described as a white male, skinny and approximately 5-foot-9 inches tall. He has a light complexion, red or blond hair, a goatee, and was wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants, police said.
Police are asking anyone who saw the man near the store entrance to contact Detective Joel Chidester at 603-357-9820 or email him at jchidester@ci.keene.nh.us.
