	$0.00 Kids Fun Run -1K - Individual Age group/open Spend a beautiful autumn day with your family and friends on the North Springfield Dam trails. This fundraiser is West Weathersfield Fire Department’s first annual trail run / walk. The trails include a captivating course with breathtaking views of the Springweather Nature Area. A 1/2-mile kids run will kick off the start of this event followed by a 3.1 mile run through the Springweather Trails. Water stations, mile markers and staff will be available throughout the course and an awards ceremony will follow. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each age group will be announce and a BBQ will follow. Bring your family and friends out to enjoy the day! Event schedule and times Registration tent opens at 8am.  Kids run starts at 9am. Kids 10 and under register for free. 5K Trail run / walk starts at 9:30am. Awards ceremony and raffle starts at 10:30. BBQ starts at 10:30am - 3pm. Course maps will be available at the registration booth. Parking is located at the North Springfield Dam parking lot off of Reservoir Road in Springfield, Vt.  Waivers will be available at the registration booth. All runners / walkers need to sign a waiver before the race begins. Please be sure to bring sunscreen, bug spray and layers. The temperatures can change significantly throughout the day. Water and fruit will be available to all runners / walkers.
