71-year-old Rita Sweet was located today (July 1, 2014) just over the
border in Petersburg, NY.
Police say Sweet showed signs of dehydration and had blisters on her feet, but she was otherwise in good health. She was taken to Southern Vermont Medical Center for an evaluation and was reunited with family.

Rita Sweet was last seen on June 30, 2014 leaving a family members
residence in the Town of Powanl, VT on foot.
No foul play is suspected, but there are concerns for her well-being.
