Vermont Guardians Ad Litem - Volunteers Needed

Lift Up a Child's Voice. a Childs Life.
Right now there are children involved in the Windsor and Orange County court systems that need your help. They don't need your money -- just your time and attention. In some cases, these children have been abused, neglected or caught in the middle of a custody battle -- but they all have the same need: to have a judge-appointment advocate who will look out for their best interest. As a Guardian ad Litem you needn't have any experience -- just a willingness to volunteer in your free time, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for helping vulnerable children and the ability to think critically, be assertive, work with others effectively, and use sound judgment. Training is provided and the personal reward is immeasurable. Currently there's a shortage of these volunteers in your community. Can you help? The next training is in September in Berlin.
