What a busy week. I'm glad it is almost the end of the month.
In
addition to our regular weekly chores and work, my sisters and I hosted
a bridal shower for my mother, Bev Howe, the five grandchildren came to
spend the weekend (while the our daughter and boyfriend were moving to
their new place), we went to our nephew's wedding (first time in years
we've had to find a babysitter!), then to my Mother's wedding on Sunday,
then an impromptu cookout after as a few family members came to the
house and all the kids got to play together. We finally wrapped up the
weekend around 10:30 on Sunday. No wonder I'm beat this morning.
It
was a wonderful week, though. Especially since we got to visit with my
cousin, Tina, her husband, Jeff, and their four daughters (Alicen,
Abigale, Ella and Ericka) from Maryland. Both weddings were wonderful.
Prayers
have been answered. There was a request for prayers for a missing young
woman in Ascutney. It is now reported that she has been located and is
safe.

Cooler
weather is here with a few sprinkles around. I hope everyone's garden
is producing more than they can eat at this point! We have an abundance
of zucchini, summer squash, radishes, snap peas, and if all the tomato's
turn red, we are going to be swimming in spaghetti sauce!
