The
Town of Weathersfield is accepting bids for construction of the
Downer’s Park and Ride Facility located on Route 106 in Weathersfield,
Vermont.
Work includes:
furnishing and installing a new gravel parking and paved driveway access
area with 10 parking spaces; furnishing and installing new vertical
granite curbing and grass island area delineating the proposed facility
and Route 106; installation of a rain garden with various plantings;
installing and maintaining various erosion and sediment controls to
protect the adjacent wetland area and buffer as delineated on the plan
and permitted; furnishing and installing a concrete pad for a future bus
shelter; and furnishing and installing various signage.
A copy of the Request for Bids may be obtained by calling Town Manager Jim Mullen at 802-674-2626 or by emailing townmgr@weathersfield.org.
A mandatory site visit will be held at 8:00 AM on Thursday August 22, 2013, at the project site.
Sealed bids must be received no later than 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013.

dry hydrant at the pond at the corner of Bowen Hill Road and Old Bow
Road in Weathersfield, Vermont.
A copy of the Request for Bids may be obtained by calling Town Manager Jim Mullen at 802-674-2626 or by emailing townmgr@weathersfield.org.
A non-mandatory site visit will be held at 7:00 AM on Thursday, 8/22/13 at the project site.
Sealed bids are due no later than 2:45 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2013.

Request for Qualifications
Maple Street Reconstruction Project
The Town of
Weathersfield is requesting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ”) from
engineering firms for engineering services for the Maple Street
Reconstruction Project in Weathersfield, Vermont. Maple Street will be
reconstructed for a distance of 0.83 miles.
The project will be
developed according to the guidelines established by the VTrans Local
Transportation Facilities (LTF) Program. Engineering services for this
project will be procured through a qualifications-based selection
process.
A site visit will be
held at 8:00 AM on Monday, August 26, 2013, beginning at the
intersection of Maple Street and Route 106. Attendance at the site visit
is not mandatory for engineering firms who wish to submit SOQ’s,
however, firms wishing to submit SOQ’s are urged to attend. The Town is
not seeking a scope of work or cost proposal at this time.
