This year's Farm Dinner has special significance. For the first time, Chef Jason is being joined by former Inn at Weathersfield chef Bill Thompson and former owner/chef of Hemingway's at Killington, Ted Fondulas for an unforgettable four course gastronomic experience.
Bill Thompson is now co-owner/chef of Cavendish Game Birds, while Fondulas is operations manager for Newhall Farm, both having exchanged chef uniforms for farming.
Proceeds of the $100 per plate (includes food, wine, tax & tip) dinner taking place Saturday, August 24 will go towards a $2,500 scholarship through the Vermont chapter of the American Institute of Wine & Food, the educational non-profit established in the early '80's by Robert Mondavi, Julia Child, Richard Graff and others.
The Farm Dinner opens at 6pm with a cocktail hour and silent auction followed by dinner at 7:15 pm, live music will accompany the dinner.
