The re-test of water quality for Stoughton Pond and the Power Dam are within Vermont standards for swim areas.
Test results: 105 E coli per 1/100 mls at Stoughton Pond and
47 E coli per 1/100 mls at the Power Dam.
The state standard is 235 E coli per 1/100 mls or less.

Weekly water quality testing at Stoughton Pond and the Power Dam did not meet the Vermont standard for E Coli.
Stoughton Pond tested at 276 E. coli per 1/100 mls and
365 E. coli per 1/100 mls at the Power Dam.
State standards are 235 E coli per 1/100 mls or less for swim areas in Vermont.
The water quality will be retested on 6/22/17 and we will post the results.
The swim areas at Stoughton Pond and the Power Dam are closed until the water quality meets the Vermont standards.
