DEFENDANT: Faith Stone, 24, Springfield VT
On March 6, 2017 a physical assault was reported by a worker at the Alternative's program. The alleged assault occurred the night before. Faith Stone was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on May 2nd for the alleged offense.

Female Juvenile, 15, Springfield VT
Officers were called to a home in Springfield for a reported assault. The caller, the mother of the 15 year old juvenile, called reporting that the child had assaulted her by hitting, kicking, and throwing things at her.
Investigation found cause to take the juvenile into custody as a delinquent for allegedly assaulting the mother. The case has been referred to Family Court and also to DCF.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Springfield Police were dispatched to Park St. in Springfield, VT for a report of a vehicle that had struck a snowbank and then drove off.
Following investigation, Moses J. Allen was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division on March 28 to answer to the alleged charge of DUI.

Defendant: Juan C. Cardi, 25, Springfield, VT
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Motor vehicle stop for an inspection violation found Cardi as a passenger in the vehicle. A routine check of Cardi for wants and warrants revealed that he was on conditions of release with a 24 hour curfew.
Cardi arrested and processed for the allegedly violating his conditions of release. Cardi was issues a citation to appear on March 13th.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 03/17/2017 at approximately 1840 hours Officers conducted a traffic stop on Park Street. A search was conducted on the vehicle as well as the subjects inside the vehicle.
Perkins was identified as the passenger. During a search of Perkins, she was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
Perkins was issued a citation to appear in Windsor Co nty Criminal Court on May 16 to answer to the allegation of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Springfield Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for an alleged minor motor vehicle violation on Center St. in Springfield, VT.
Upon investigation Debra Dee Keller was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division on April 4th to answer to the alleged charge of DUI refusal.

Disorderly Conduct Noise in the Nighttime

Date of Incident: March 19, 2017
Defendant: David Haines, 55, Springfield, VT
Springfield Police were dispatched to Main St. in Springfield, VT for a report of an alleged noise disturbance.
Upon investigation David Haines was taken into custody for alleged disorderly conduct and noise in the nighttime.
Haines was lodged at SSCF in lieu of $1000.00 bail and arraigned in Windsor County Criminal Court on March 20th.

Resisting Arrest

Date of Arrest: March 11, 2017
DEFENDANT: David H. Fuller, 49, Springfield, VT
Springfield Police responded to Pine St. in Springfield, VT in reference to a subject with an active arrest warrant.
Upon investigation David H. Fuller was taken into custody on the warrant and alleged resisting arrest.
Fuller will be arraigned on the alleged resisting charge on May 2nd. He will serve 10 days in jail on the outstanding warrant.

Defendant: Jeffrey Matteson, 21, Springfield, VT
Officer's responded to 105 Loveland Street in Springfield, VT for a report of a wanted person. Upon arrival, contact was made with Matteson who allegedly had an active arrest warrant. He was taken into custody and subsequently lodged at SSCF in lieu of $1000.00 bail.

Possession of Heroin

Date of Arrest: March 22, 2017
DEFENDANTS: Female, 23, Springfield, Vermont
Devin Speed, 20, Weathersfield, Vermont
On March 22nd at approximately 1756 hours Officers were
at 120 Main Street investigating a separate incident when a search of the residence revealed suspected heroin.
Speed and Female were allegedly found to be in possession of the suspected heroin. Both Speed and Female were issued citations to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on May 16 to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of Heroin.
