SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On March 20, 2017 at approximately 9:45AM Vermont State Police received a report
of a deceased individual who apparently had been in involved a snowmobile crash
on VAST Trail 106 in the Town of Reading.

Troopers responded to the scene.  The preliminary investigation shows that
Stephen Titus of Reading had been operating his skidoo MXZ along VAST trail 106
when he went off the the groomed portion of the trail and collided with multiple
trees.

Titus who was not wearing a helmet passed away as a result of the injuries
sustained in the crash.  Speed is considered the primary factor in this crash.
