State Police in Rockingham are investigating a single vehicle fatal motor vehicle crash on I-91 in Weathersfield near mile marker 48/20 south bound at 11:23 a.m. today.
McKayla Park, 21, Oneonta, NY, was traveling south when her vehicle left the west side of the roadway, overturned and collided with a tree.
The vehicle, a 2000 Subaru Forester, was totaled.
Park was transported to Springfield Hospital with injuries.
A passenger, Trent Costello, 22, Kingston, NY, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
I-91 was closed for several hours for the crash investigation.
The State Police were assisted by the Weathersfield Police Department, Ascutney Volunteer Fire Department, Springfield Fire Department, West Weathersfield Volunteer Fire Department and the Agency of Transportation.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
