The Chief and LT from Springfield PD went to execute the arrest warrant
on Nick Turco today. The family was uncooperative and demanded that they
leave the property. Turco continues to be wanted on the active arrest
warrant.
On April 3rd an active Arrest
Warrant was issued for Nicholas J Turco, age 35, formerly of the Mount
Holly area. Turco is sought in connection with the purse snatching that occurred outside the South Street Market and subsequent forgery of checks.
The Warrant consists of misdemeanor charges of Petit Larceny $900 or
less; False Pretenses or False Tokens $900 or Less; and Vehicle
Operation following License Suspension. The Warrant also includes felony
charges of Forgery-Utter/Publish an Instrument x3.
Bail on this warrant has been set at $10,000. Anyone knowing where Turco
may be located is urged to contact the PD at 802-885-2113.
He's still at the house in Mt Holly.. He was walking yesterday afternoon... he's there all the time.
