Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of Franklin 'Frank'
Silfies, Sr.
Frank was a member for nearly 40 years, serving as association president and firefighter.
Frank also founded the Green Mountain Critical Incident Stress Management Team, was director of the Weathersfield Ambulance service, as well as served as a part-time Weathersfield Police Officer.
Visiting hours will be held at The Greater Hartford United Church of Christ on Friday, February 27th between the hours of 5-7pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 11am, also at The Greater Hartford United Church of Christ, with reception to follow.
