Cold Air, Snow, Wind Chills, Snow, More Cold... Let's Jump Off This Roller Coaster!

Inside The Forecast:
Well, unlike Monday morning, when the wind chills were dangerously cold, the winds are fairly light this morning. But the actual air temperatures are colder than it has been so far this season, which, as we know, has been very, very cold.

Our temperatures will come up just a bit over the next couple of days, but they will still be far below the normal high, which is 31° in Burlington.

Then we'll go through that old, familiar cycle again - a clipper will come at us from the west with snow showers late Wednesday into early Thursday with a few inches of snow. And once again, as it goes by, it will pull down another shot of bitter cold, Arctic air on blustery NW winds for the end of the week.

And we're keeping an eye on a system that will mainly track to our south over the weekend, but we could get clipped by some snow from that one. And sure enough, once it goes by, more cold air will come back in for the start of next week.

On and on it goes! -Gary
