I am sorry that I cannot call each and every one of you personally but I would like you to know that Frank died on Tuesday night. He was loved and known by many and I would not have chosen to let you know in this manner, but it is the quickest way to let so many know. Arrangements for a celebration of his life are being planned. Stay tuned for that information. And thanks in advance for your love and support. ---SallyAnn

The members of the Springfield Police Department extend their sincerest condolences to the friends and family of Franklin Silfies. Many of us had come to know Frank through his work with the Vermont Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) Team. Through his dedication to the Team and to those working in the Emergency Service agencies around him, many are forever thankful for his guidance during the aftermath of a traumatic call. May all who knew him find warmth and solace in their memories during this time. Godspeed Frank........
