I emailed her to see if she can teach calligraphy to several people who are interested here in Weathersfield and she said YES!

Foundational Calligraphy Workshop:
In this beginners workshop we will practice and learn the foundational hand, which was devised by master penman and typographer Edward Johnston, in early 20th century England. Johnston based this broad-edge pen hand on 10th century carolingian manuscript calligraphy. The foundational hand is an upright alphabet with a 30 degree pen angle. According to English-American master scribe Sheila Waters (b.1929) the foundational hand should be the first alphabet students’ study.
