An “OUTDOOR LIVING RAFFLE”
is being offered to benefit the Weathersfield Proctor Library’s Capital
Campaign Fund. The first prize being offered is a $250 gift card from
Eastern Mountain Sports. The second prize is two 2-paddle board 24-hour
rentals at a $140 value (also from EMS), and third prize is two bicycle
tune-ups from Claremont Cycle at a $70 value. No more than 1,000
tickets will be sold and the drawing will be held at the Library on
Friday evening. Winners do not have to be present to win the prizes.
Raffle tickets are being offered at the Library, the Red Barn Café, and
the Ascutney Market, all located on Route 5 in Ascutney, VT.
A
second fundraiser will be held this summer at the Weathersfield Meeting
House on Center Road on July 27. This evening is titled “A SUMMER
EVENING WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS” and will feature libations, music,
scrumptious summer desserts, and short local tales told by long-time
residents of Weathersfield. Silent auction items from the neighboring
community will also be available to bid on this evening.
