Smart Commute in Weathersfield

Would you like better commuting options to/from and around our town? Interested in giving input? 

 

Vital Communities (VC) is looking for Vermont communities in their service area to participate in the second round of their Smart Commute Home Edition. This is an exciting opportunity for four communities to partner with Vital Communities and promote biking, walking, transit, carpooling, telecommuting, and high-efficiency vehicles in their communities. Smart Commute can help save residents money, reduce the environmental impact of driving, and improve the health and wellness of residents.

An info. session will be held next Tues, 10/14, at 7 pm at the VC office in WRJ.

VC seeks proposals, due 10/31. I'm willing and able to work on this if there's sufficient interest in town. (It's not any kind of mandate or imposition from above.) I'm glad to write the proposal but ONLY IF THERE'S COMMUNITY SUPPORT. Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks.
