Springfield Dam Ride
(for Horses & Mules)
(US Army Corps of Engineers North Springfield Lake)
WHEN: Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd 2017
(Arrive as early as Friday night, Leave no later than Sunday afternoon)
Check in begins at 8:00am. Pre-ride briefing at 9:00am
WHERE: At the end of Maple Street in Perkinsville, Vermont, off Route 106 (further directions available).
FEES: $40.00 for 1 day or $75.00 for 2 days
TRAILS: Marked trails of mostly woods trails and dirt roads. Short & Long Loops.
Saturday SHORT Loop will be 6 miles.
Saturday LONG Loop will be 12 miles.
Sunday SHORT Loop will be 6 miles.
Sunday LONG Loop will be 12 miles.
(All trail mileage is approximate.)
FOOD: A light breakfast and a meal after the ride will be provided on Saturday & Sunday.
Extra lunch tickets may be purchased for $10.00 per day.
Please Register by August 27th to enable us to properly plan for food.
PROOF OF NEGATIVE COGGINS & RABIES, SIGNED LIABILITY WAIVER REQUIRED PRIOR TO UNLOADING.
APPROVED RIDING HELMETS REQUIRED.
STABLING: There are no stalls available. Please be sure to bring your own portable pens.
WATER: Drinking water and water for horses will be available on site.
FACILITIES: Porta Pottys on site.
DOGS : Allowed, must be leashed and under control at all times.
ALL refuse must be carted out – camp and/or trailer site must be left clean
